We must at all times show Christian character even with those with whom
we vehemently oppose
No name calling or backhanded insulting
No ad hominem attacks
No theological cuss-words
Our Purpose
Unashamed of Grace is a friendly place to boldly proclaim, carefully study
and openly engage our respective views: Dispensationalism; Free Grace
Theology; and Old-School Non-Calvinism.
What then shall we say was gained by Abraham, our forefather according to
the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast
about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham
believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness." Now to the one
who works, his wages are not counted as a gift but as his due. And to the
one who does not work but trusts him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is
counted as righteousness ...
(Romans 4:1-5)
Mark, As far as I am concerned (but there are others who own this blog also) your comment was polite and therefore welcome. You are fine. You may now consider yourself not banned, IMO. Engagement is fine as long as we can all do so peacefully. :~)
I disagree with your assessment, of course. I may have more to say about it in a little while - busy right now.
Hi Mark, (let's not say we don't believe people; it sounds like we could be calling them liars and that could be construed as rude :~) )
Now, as to your questions: Is it not through faith that we enter into a living relationship with the Triune Creator?
Yes.
Once one enters into that relationship is not he/she then reconciled?
Yes.
Don't all the reasons why God saves a person then come to pass?
2Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see him as he is.(1 John 3:2)
